Stop Criticizing and Save Your Marriage

Criticism hurts especially when it is done out of anger and hatred. Constructive criticism is healthy for an individual when it is done out of love. Criticizing is a sure way to ending the happiness in your marriage.

In a marriage criticizing your partner in public is even faster way to ending your relationship. Everyone dislikes washing their dirty linen in public and your partner is not an exemption. The criticized partner in a marriage feels betrayed that their spouse choose to bring their private dealings to the eyes of the public even if it is a relation or a close family friend.

You say your partner is a pain in the ass, and this has driven you off the edge of the self control cliff. Focusing on your partner’s bad behavior or attitude in a marriage tends to magnify the problem.

Public criticism is not an antidote for your partner’s bad behavior, remember each time you point a finger at someone, three fingers are pointing back at you.
Some partners feel their spouse is a goo sport in a marriage and can’t take it! It is a shame they think that way. Remember everyone has faults, and being critical just makes your fault appear bigger.

Marriage is a union where couples consciously overlook and learn from each other’s short comings. This may seem overwhelming during the initial years of seeing these problems in marriage. With perseverance you begin to truly grow in love with your spouse, while those annoying behaviors just seem to varnish.
